SEAM Group is growing! We are seeking a Customer Development Representative to join our Sales & Marketing Department. In this role, you are responsible for identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities with mostly stationary office work (Warsaw). A successful Customer Development Representative will thrive under pressure, think out-of-the-box, easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated.

Job description

As our Customer Development Representative, you are responsible for:

  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Educate and develop prospects leading to hand-off to sales team
  • Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
  • Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources
  • Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching, and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a sales representative
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in Salesforce application
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Report success and failures to immediate supervisors
  • Stay knowledgeable about products and services offered by SEAM Group
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic and capable of multitasking across many sales leads at different levels of development
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and willingness to train/educate peers on best practices in the lead development function
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful business pipeline
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Creative thinker with proven ability to develop out-of-the-box ideas
  • Ability to prepare and present company materials and reports

Expected education, language and experience:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred

  • Languages required:

    • Polish – fluent

    • English - fluent

  • 2-5 years of sales experience (inside or outside)

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

  • Minimum 2 years of cold calling experience, relation initiation practice

  • Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Basic CRM software experience is a plus (Salesforce preferred)
